Data processing
Options for interpolating data processing
For the data import there exist three different options for interpolation of the data processing, including the normal interpolation, the arbitrary interpolation and the Change-of-Value-Interpolation:
a. Interpolation of both values to max. one time step forward and backward
b. Shifting of the next value to max. one time step forward and backward
c. No import-value
Only the data closely to the target time points t will be processed. If there is no value, that lies chronologically close-by, no value for the target time point will be indicated. If no value for the interpolation is defined, the workspace standard-quantization is used for the interpolation (e.g. minute, quarter of an hour, day).
This option displays the standard setting.
An arbitrary time frame* in minutes can be chosen, to look out for values in both directions. The interpolation takes place between the closest values based on the weighted mean.
*until 366 days. The input occurs in minutes, so max. 527.040 minutes.
To choose this option, the requested time frame should be inserted next to „Interpolation:“
Supported Aliases
Besides the import of numeric values the import of datapoints its values contain strings (for example: „on“, „off“) is supported. During the import of those strings they get transformed into boolean datapoints (true/false) so that they can be further refined in the digital testbench. The following strings are supported at the moment:
